Jenny & Stuart were married May 12 at Lake Anna, Virginia. Crazy good luck on the weather for the entire weekend, and they couldn’t have picked a more beautiful spot for the festivities. All the best, guys!
….and back to Richmond Sunday for Roseanna & Bryan. Super couple, incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. Did a big tour of the city, starting in Shockoe Slip, moving on to Monument Ave., and finishing up with a spectacular sunset on Church Hill.
I realize I’m spoiled silly being a Williamsburg-based event photographer, but I gotta say I love nothing more than having the opportunity to get out of town and explore new opportunities from time to time. This weekend I had a couple of engagement sessions in Richmond, a city I don’t shoot in nearly as often as I’d like. Chelsea, Matt & I shot around the University of Richmond campus Saturday afternoon.
Jill and Robert drove down from the DC area for an intimate wedding at the Williamsburg Inn. We had so much fun shooting the portraits afterward that they decided to come back down a couple weeks later for a second session! Here are some highlights from both sessions:
It’s been a couple years since I photographed Noelle & Michael’s wedding, so it was great to have the chance to shoot Noelle’s kid sister Nicollette’s wedding this February. Beautiful ceremony in Hampton, reception at the Freight Shed in Yorktown.
